The Vahatra Madagascar's work is mainly focused on educating the people of Madagascar, 90% of whom live with less than $1 a day. The NGO aims to improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable so that they become financially independent. The key areas of our activities consist of crop production management , environmental and education.
The NGO members are multi-disciplinary volunteers. The prospects of the NGO are based on training members to become entrepreneurs, leaders of tomorrow and to contribute to the development of Madagascar. Tocarry out these missions, the NGO must promote the importance of solidarity or "Fihavanana" in the country. Fihavanana is founded on the principle of mutual aid, service to others and above all, the realization that we are all equal. Hence our slogan "Equal treatment and opportunity for all"
