Retake Rome is the most widespread association in the Eternal City actively engaged in the care of the common good.
It is a spontaneous, non-profit and non-partisan, volunteer movement of community members and world citizens collaborating together to promote the beauty, livability and urban regeneration of Rome, and raise awareness of civic duty and the responsibility of each individual in contributing to our wellbeing and economic growth of the city.
We operate through a set of civic mobilization events, educational projects and public-private partnerships, involving the respect and protection of all the city’s components of a social context, within the framework of the principle of horizontal subsidiarity.
The field of action of Retake Rome are public spaces, such as streets, squares, green areas, beaches, buildings. In these areas our projects and initiatives of various kinds take place:
Parallel to its action in the field, the association Retake Rome actively participates in public debate on the sustainable development of the city, the enhancement of public goods, the active involvement of citizens and the efficiency of services.
