On this day, Keep Sweden Tidy will gather the whole of Sweden, north to south, old and young, and pick up all the litter we see. Together we are a movement that is tired of litter in our communities and takes matters into our own hands - literally! When you register at https://hsr.se/hela-sverige-plockar-skrap (registration opens on August 8), you will be offered bags, sacks and gloves free of charge. Keep Sweden Tidy Day is a part of the World Clean-up Day that takes place all over the world. Millions of people are participating!

There are no cleanup events yet organized. If you want to organize a cleanup in this country, please register a cleanup event!

World Cleanup Day 2020

19 September, World Cleanup Day 2020 (merged with Keep Sweden Tidy day). 86 934 people participated in Sweden! And more than 450 events were registered at Keep Sweden tidy’s website. Together we are a movement that is tired of litter in our communities and takes matters into our own hands - literally!
Littering harms animals and nature, destroys the oceans, makes cities unsafe and costs society a lot of money - completely unnecessarily. That is why we need to stop littering. In this campaign everyone can make a difference both by picking up litter and by sending the message not to litter.
