People and organisations in 133 countries participated in Digital Cleanup Day 20 March to 22 April. Altogether 2,733,264 GB of data was deleted and 683 tons of yearly C02 production prevented.
For example, this amount of CO2 production is equal to 2 732 one-hour individual flights or 5,6 million km per car. Or talking by mobile phone for 114 millions hours!
France, Belgium and Taiwan were the most active countries.
