Let’s Do It World HQ visited the Let's Do It Georgia team and met with delegations in Kaspi and Kashuri municipalities. The visit was part of the larger project “ACT for environment” with the aim to accelerate sustainable change in two municipalities in Georgia.

Delegation from Let's Do It World together with the Let's Do It Georgia team visited the local municipalities of Kaspi and Kashuri and talked about environmental challenges, needs and future plans, as well as shared best practices on waste management and possible ways on how to work together in the future.

Local cleanups and tree planting with local schools were organised on both days. The delegation of Let’s Do it World was amazed by the hospitality of local people. During the cleanup in Khashuri local people brought drinks and home-made khashuri,  a special traditional salty cake in Georgia.

Giorgi Azariashvili from Let’s Do It Georgia valued the meetings highly: "These were interesting, fruitful meetings where we shared the same environmental goals. We see a great potential in working together with municipalities to create a waste-free and sustainable world.”

The visit was supported by ESTDEV – Estonian Centre for International Development.
