Imagine What Support Builds

For 8 years, that day has been real. It's called World Cleanup Day, and it's proof that people don't need to be forced into cooperation — they just need the chance. But a day like that doesn't happen on its own, and what happens after it matters even more.

Imagine a single day when millions of people, in 164 countries, all decide the same thing at the same time: today, we show up for this planet. That's not a dream, it's what we have built together, teaming up with 164 countries as we've run World Cleanup Day for the past 8 years, led by Let's Do It World. And imagining what comes next is exactly why we need your support now.

Volunteers in Uzbekistan sort and weigh collected waste during a community clean-up action.

Imagine what becomes possible when every local leader in that network has what they need, not just for one day, but for the eleven months in between. Imagine a leader in a small town who doesn't have to wonder if anyone still cares, because the tools, the training, and the connection are already there. That's what support makes possible. Not a bigger event. A stronger foundation.

Imagine if the cleanup itself is just the beginning. Because it is, the trash we collect is maybe five percent of what actually matters. The other ninety-five percent is what happens in people's minds when they realize they just did something impossible: acted together with strangers across language, borders, and belief. Imagine funding that awakening, again and again, in every country, every year. That's what a donation actually buys, not a cleaner street for a day, but a more connected world for good.

Children take part in a tree-planting activity, showing how environmental action can inspire the next generation.

Imagine 8 years of proof that this works, partnered with 164 countries, and then imagine what year nine looks like if we don't let it slow down. More countries joining. More leaders supported. More people discovering that collaboration isn't naive — it's the most powerful thing we have.

That is the world we are building.

Help us keep imagining it forward.
