From March 2026, Let’s Do It World welcomes Siiri Tiivits-Puttonen as its new Chief Executive Officer — a leader whose lifelong connection to nature, people, and collective action reflects the spirit of the movement itself.
Siiri’s environmental journey began long before her professional career. Growing up in Estonia in the 1980s, she was already protecting nature as a young child, inspired by her parents and family values. Time spent in forests and close contact with the natural world shaped her understanding that humans are part of nature, not separate from it. With the support of her family, she joined early environmental initiatives, experiences that continue to guide her leadership today.
Over the past two decades, Siiri has built an international career combining digital innovation, sustainability, education, and organisational development. She has led digital transformation and e-commerce projects, supported organisations through change processes, and developed programmes that connect technology with environmental responsibility. She is also the founder of SiRoMo, a consultancy focusing on sustainable digital solutions, training, and strategic development.
At the international level, Siiri serves as Chair of the Environment and Sustainable Development Standing Committee at BPW International and contributes to the UNESCO Greening Education Partnership, supporting the integration of sustainability into education systems and communities worldwide. In Estonia, she is a board member of the Estonian Green Movement and has been actively involved in developing green entrepreneurship programmes that help businesses transition toward more sustainable models.
Her academic background reflects the interdisciplinary nature of her work. She studied environmental chemistry and water treatment technologies at Tallinn University of Technology, international business management at Estonian Business School, and is currently completing a Master’s degree in education. Her focus is on bridging sustainability, digital skills, and real-world application, enabling people to actively participate in societal change.
As CEO, Siiri sees Let’s Do It World entering an important new phase. While global clean-up actions remain a powerful symbol of collective impact, she believes the organisation’s potential is much broader.
Her vision is to strengthen Let’s Do It World as a globally recognised movement that connects environmental action with education, community engagement, innovation, and behavioural change.
Key priorities include:
Siiri believes that the greatest strength of Let’s Do It World lies in its people — millions of volunteers who care deeply about the planet and their communities.
At the core of Siiri’s philosophy is a simple belief: every person can reconnect with nature.
Sometimes change does not begin with learning something new, but with remembering something that already exists inside us — a green place in the heart. When people rediscover that connection, responsibility and action follow naturally.
With this vision, Siiri steps into the leadership of Let’s Do It World — to strengthen the movement, expand its impact, and inspire people everywhere to protect the only home we share.
Siiri would like to express her sincere gratitude for the trust placed in her to lead Let’s Do It World into this next chapter. She deeply values the work that has already been built by the global network and recognises the dedication of volunteers, leaders, and partners around the world:
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve this movement and to work together with all of you. Let’s Do It World is built on people who care — and together we can create even greater impact for our planet and future generations.”
