Due to the ongoing war situation, the World Cleanup Day in Ukraine will be held from August 17 to September 17. Ukraine is expecting participation by the employees from different organisations, companies, and government institutions, who will join in various formats at the level of corporate social responsibility, media communications, as opinion leaders or ordinary citizens.

Participation formats will vary depending on geographic location and security, but everyone will be able to participate with digital cleaning in any convenient place at any time. Removing unnecessary information from your gadgets, cloud storage, and electronic and Internet resources will unload database centers, which consume a huge amount of energy. So the digital cleanup will reduce the amount of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.

During a collective cleanup on the territory of any institution and organisation, the number of participants in the group must be limited, and the area will be checked by the State Emergency Service for safety. Traditional cleanup is allowed only in locations recommended by local self-government bodies.

Ukrainians abroad are also invited to join! Everyone will be able to organise digital or physical cleanup, join an international event, thank the host cities and support their hometown even from a distance. Details are in the news and our website www.letsdoitukraine.org.
