On 20 September 2025, Kyiv became the global center of World Cleanup Day, the world’s largest civic environmental movement. For the first time, the International Press Media Center was hosted in Ukraine, a historic achievement that made Kyiv the key hub for coordinating cleanup actions worldwide. The live broadcast, organised by Let’s Do It World and Let’s Do It Ukraine, connected millions across continents with greetings from Heidi Solba, country stories, expert interviews, and cultural performances. Hosting the international broadcast in Kyiv was a landmark moment for Ukraine, showcasing its central role in the global cleanup movement.
