Between 1st October - 1st November, 2022 only, 100K claimers can withdraw their token as NFT (non-fungible token) to be stored on the blockchain.
NFTs are used to represent ownership of digital art, certificates and merit badges. World Cleanup Day 2022 offers an open edition of non-transferable NFTs representing one collectible work of art. The illustration will only be available to this year’s participants and will be limited to the first 100.000 participants who claim their tokens on the KOOS page.
The tokens are non-transferable means that they belong to the participants only. Users may be able to configure their social media accounts to display a verified list of NFTs they own, to show off their participation in a unique way.
The NFT tokens can be claimed free of charge, for a limited time, on the KOOS page. To get started, you will need a cryptocurrency wallet that supports NFTs on the Polygon blockchain. If you do not have such a wallet, you can install one for free — a popular option is the Coinbase Wallet; to install it, please follow the instructions in the “Getting started with Coinbase Wallet” section on the following page
