Estonia 2008

One-day, one country cleanup formula is invented in Estonia, when 50 000 people came out for 4 hours and cleaned up the whole country.

This started series of cleanups first in Europe and elsewhere in the World, eventually becoming a movement.

LETS DO IT WORLD
Croatia 2012

From March until September, over 30 countries held one-day cleanups with over Million volunteers, and Let’s Do It! movement is born.

LETS DO IT WORLD 2016

Organization for the first World Cleanup Day starts, along side with creating a new Network of Let’s Do It! countries.

LETS DO IT WORLD 2018

First World Cleanup Day is held on 15th September. The green wave of cleanups started in New Zealand and ended in Hawaii 36 hours later. 157 countries with 17.6 million volunteers took part.

LETS DO IT WORLD 2019

Let’s Do It World NGO is established with establishment of membership based environmental organisation to represent and coordinate the countries in Let’s do it World network.

LETS DO IT WORLD 2020

First global Digital Cleanup Day is held on Earth Day in April, to bring attention to the growing issue of energy consumption of our digital practices and of digital waste.

Let’s Do It World Annual Conference is held virtually for the first time, attracting more than 2500 participants.
